Jacques Maitre (Owner) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey and New York, and a graduate of the Therapeutic Game Master program of Geek Therapeutics. He has more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit work and private practice. He is a lifelong console and tabletop gamer.

Jacques received his Master of Social Work from San Jose State University in 1995. He served individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in California's nonprofit sector from 1995 to 2013. After relocating to New Jersey, Jacques supported the mental health of formerly unhoused individuals with HIV in New York City from 2015 to 2018. He has been in private practice since 2018, serving individuals and families with mood disorders, gender and sexual identity struggles, and trauma survivors.

Jacques joined the community of Therapeutic Game Masters in 2023 in hopes of integrating his desire to help people bring forward their best selves with his passion for gaming.
